How connecting actually works
One sign-in, not an API key
You authorise the connection the normal way. There is no key to generate, store or rotate.
No field mapping
You are not shown two columns and asked which field means what. It works that out from your data and confirms anything genuinely ambiguous.
It notices when something changes
If a connection stops working, you are told. Automations that break silently are the reason people distrust this category.
Missing something? Ask.
If you need a connection that does not exist yet, tell us. Requests from real customers are how the list gets decided.
Questions people ask
Do I have to connect anything to start?
No. Everything essential is built in. Connections are for keeping tools you already like.
Will my accountant still get what they need?
Yes. Either connect your accounting package so records flow through, or export clean records whenever they ask.
Is there an API?
Not a public one today. IniDeck is deliberately built for people who want outcomes rather than building blocks. If you need raw API access, we are honestly not the right fit yet.
What if a tool I need is not listed?
Tell us. The list is short on purpose — every connection we own is one we maintain properly rather than one we ship and let rot.
